2% of our net income for October will be donated to ZERO BREAST CANCER:
The Dipsea Run/Hike was founded in 2002 in memory of Andrea Fox, breast cancer activist and Zero Breast Cancer (ZBC) board member, who lost her life to breast cancer at 35 years of age. This event is a family friendly tradition supporting outreach and education to prevent breast cancer in the next generation. Participants hike a 6-mile trail loop on Mt. Tamalpais, starting and ending with the famous Dipsea steps. There are sponsorship opportunities for local and national businesses and easy-to-use online fundraising tools. There are also many volunteer opportunities for community members. The hike is also dedicated to the memory of Jerry Leith, passionate Tamalpa runner and dedicated supporter of ZBC who lost his life to cancer in 2011, and to memorialize ZBC benefactor Marjorie Bonner, mother of Andrea Fox, who died in 2017.
